Individuals involved during planning should ensure they have adequate time to evaluate their plan and take the required action immediately.
Organizing in management set up involves developing the structure in which everybody should be allocated in his or her line of duty to meet the organization goals and objectives. This arrangement of working staff involves co-ordination of their expertise making work easier. The organization structure is ranked according to individual power and line of duty where bye power is arranged from bottom to top in an ascending order. Orders should come from top to bottom but not bottom going up. Requests should be made from bottom going up in system of power given to responsible individuals (Williams 8).
Jobs should be arranged in an organization where duties and responsibilities are allocated to individuals. The manner in which duties should be performed should be well demonstrated. Decisions should be made about the nature of the job.
In an organization set up should be clearly drawn well into different departments or clusters to make coordination easier. Different ways on how to departmentalize includes, grouping by their functions, Products being produced, Geographical location and customers served. Leading involves the act of influencing others by showing the reason and possibilities of attaining organization goals and objectives. For leading to be effective in an organization this should starts with the leader. Manager should motivate the staffs by recognizing those who do good, offering them with holidays, giving them bonuses and releasing them to go home early. Communication is a very effective tool in an organization so managers should communicate effectively. Power should be used effectively but not to undermine those under the power. By showing these factors as a leader subordinates must show effort toward attaining of the organizations goal (Williams 9).
